剧集分为八个单元故事，讲述马德钟所演的非常检控观带领一众团队，透过非一般的手法，为受害人寻求公义，带出非常检控观念。
Purim曾在爱情中遭受重创，他的恋人Rose为嫁豪门决绝离去，从此杳无音讯。但Purim始终未能走出这场情伤，复仇的执念在他心中生根发芽。多年后，Purim已成为商界巨贾，而Rose却沦落为酗酒赌博的瘾君子。当命运让两人再度相遇，Purim抓住复仇契机，以偿还赌债为条件，迫使Rose将女儿Kungsadarn嫁与他为妻。婚后相处中，Purim渐渐被Kungsadarn的纯善打动，冰冷的心房悄然漾开暖意。然而……他们的前路依然布满重重荆棘。
